The MOU signifies an easier pathway for Malaysians who plan to study in MSMU, a leader in providing recognized and quality education for those
who aspire to obtain Medical Degrees. With the signing of the MoU, Institut Mentari is now the official representative of MSMU in Malaysia. From now onwards,
Malaysian students can enjoy pursuing their studies at Institut Mentari without having to go abroad to complete their Foundation Programme. Currently, an estimated
of almost 1,000 students from Malaysia are pursuing their Medical Degrees in MSMU.
According to Institut Mentari's Chief Executive Officer, Azroul Liza Khalid, students will have to undergo a 14 month Foundation Programme
before pursuing their studies at MSMU in Moscow. This saves a lot of money since parents do not have to spend unnecessary cash on their children's cost of living,
flight tickets, boarding etc., which is definitely higher in Russia as compared to Malaysia. Instead, students will have the privilege of studying here, while being
coached and mentored by local lecturers as well as from MSMU and their progress could easily be monitored by their parents. The Foundation program is expected to
commence in November 2012.
Ms. Azroul Liza added that the location of Institut Mentari is right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's City Centre, next to Central Market and is of
high convenience for students who wish to commute using public transportation. The ambience is perfect for students to concentrate with their studies. Hostel is also
provided upon request. At present, Institut Mentari is offering Diploma in Business Studies and is open for registration for the June 2012 session. Students who
register before 30th June are entitled for free hostel, some pocket money and a waiver of up to RM100 registration fee. For further details, kindly call +603.9054.7100

Institut Mentari invites LinkedIn to promote a better professional branding amongst Malaysian graduates
The number of graduates has expanded so dramatically and students should be more creative in marketing themselves especially in the alternative
media, the internet. At this age, students should not just rely on newspapers to look for jobs as the internet is becoming the latest trend for employers to
advertise their vacancies. On top of this, our students should think about the world as their employer, not just Malaysia. Based on these critical factors,
Institut Mentari's Chief Executive Officer, Hajah Azroul Liza Binti Haji Khalid has initiated a collaboration with LinkedIn, the world's largest professional
network on the internet, to organize a seminar to educate our students on getting efficiently connected with their future employers via the internet.

LinkedIn started by Reid Hoffman in 2002. As of December 31, 2012, LinkedIn operates with more than 200 million members in over 200 countries
and territories. As of December 31, 2012 (the end of the fourth quarter), professionals are signing up to join LinkedIn at a rate of approximately two new
members per second.
Realizing that LinkedIn is a great source for students to hunt and be hunted for jobs, and the ability of the network to allow students to
advertise themselves proficiently, Azroul Liza feels that it is vital to get students the proper guidance from the expert. This collaboration, the first in the
world, would benefit many Malaysian graduates in preparing themselves to fill up the job market based on the qualifications they earned. Back then, upon
graduation, there were ample jobs waiting for small number of graduates, hence it was easy to secure employment. The situation has changed significantly since
then. There are now 20 public universities, in addition to the private institutions. Thousands of graduates enter the workforce every year and the job market
is becoming more competitive and only those who know the strategy to market themselves well will survive.
The collaboration with LinkedIn is one of its CSR projects as a contribution to building a better nation. The seminar, entitled How Students
Can Market Themselves through LinkedIn by Emma Wilson Mourad will be held at the main hall of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang on 4th May 2013 at 9.30am.
Admission is free. The seminar is expected to pull 2000 crowd. For enquiries, please call 03 - 90547100 or email at linkedintalk@institutmentari.edu.my.
